Multi-Level Furniture Studio
With Jon Taylor | Beginners - Intermediate
Explore functional woodworking in a collaborative studio setting designed for beginning to intermediate participants. Learn essential skills such as safe use of hand and power tools, joinery, carving, and finishing techniques. Beginners will create projects with hands-on instruction to build foundational skills, while advanced students can design and execute their own shop-appropriate projects with guidance in planning, design, and material selection. Technical demonstrations and group projects will be tailored to class interests, fostering creativity and craftsmanship. Materials and tool list provided.

JON TAYLOR is the owner of ENJOINERY, a custom design and fabrication business collaborating with regional to international retail brands, designers, and private clients on fixtures and furniture. He received a sculpture BFA from Alfred University and an MFA from UMass Dartmouth in wood and furniture design. jtaylor@prattmunson.edu
