MINI-COURSE | Pendant/Ring Casting

with Shannon Stockbridge | All Levels | 18+

Whether crafting a charm for a loved one or for yourself, this six-session class is all about making a one-of-a-kind statement piece. Students learn the timeless process of lost wax casting and walk away with a finished ring or pendant of their own design. Students explore a variety of wax carving, sculpting, and finishing techniques, ultimately casting their own pendant or ring in a vacuum casting machine. Bronze is included in class tuition, silver may be purchased from the Studio Building reception office based on weight of casting. This course is ideal for an introduction to the jewelry studio or those looking to refine their casting skills.
