Enjoy an exclusive after-hours look at American Landscapes from the New-York Historical Society with Elizabeth Welch, Assistant Curator of American Art. Join Elizabeth as she shares her insights on American Landscapes, Views of New York: Wilderness and Waters, and Trenton Falls: Stilled Waters | Still Here. She’ll discuss how paintings of Oneida County in all three exhibitions relate to national trends and concerns. The talk will also feature Native perspectives on the nineteenth-century history and contemporary Haudenosaunee art. At the conclusion of the tour, enjoy a glass of wine with Artisanal Cheeses, and shop American Landscapes items in the Museum Shop.
