Angela Ferguson, Onondaga Nation, Eel Clan, is a leader in the Indigenous food sovereignty movement, which strives to make Native communities self-sufficient through the cultivation of healthy foods. She is a seed saver and chef and believes in the importance of bringing back the traditional heirloom foods.

Each dish tells a story and carries a history. Starting with a hot and cold drink tasting at 5:30 p.m., participants will be treated to a four-course meal that includes, but is not limited to, a traditional Haudenosaunee corn soup, maple and white pine-roasted bison, and red corn mush with wild raspberries. Angela will also speak about food sovereignty and Indigenous food preparation and what it means to Indigenous tribes to cook with non-colonial foods. Music by revered Joanne Shenandoah, Oneida Indian Nation, Wolf Clan, will play through the night. Come join the table!
