Whether you're taking your first steps into painting or already possess a wealth of experience, this class caters to all skill levels, from beginners to the advanced. Chris encourages each artist’s intentions and personal development as they investigate painting as a craft as well as a form of expression. Advance painting skills while learning how to analyze and talk about art through critiques and discussions. Required materials list provided.

Meet your instructor, Chris! (He/Him)
CHRISTOPHER CIRILLO instructs design, color theory, painting, and drawing courses for Pratt Munson. In addition to his courses at Pratt Munson, he also teaches non-credit classes for the Munson Community Arts Program, and has previously instructed courses at MVCC, Empire State College, and The Kirkland Art Center. Cirillo received his BFA in Painting and Drawing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and his MFA in Visual Arts from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. ccirillo@prattmunson.edu
